Remembering Our Fallen
"When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say, For Your Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today"
Installed in 2016, our War Memorial in the clubhouse remembers those who fell in action during World War I and World War II. Some nine players were killed during the First World War, and a further three in the second. Research continues on the fallen, and research which discovers any further players will be reflected with updates to the memorial.
We would like to thank David Dyer, whose book, 'The Heroes of Hailsham' was invaluable when putting together this memorial. We would also like to thank users of The Great War Forum for their assistance
